Bombing Prevention Awareness

The US Dept of Homeland Security Office for Bombing Prevention is presenting "Bombing Prevention Awareness" on June 2nd at the Brown County Annex Building, Nashville IN.  8am-5pm.  This course is free.  You do need a FEMA SID number, which you can get at https:://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register


The course will provide participants with knowledge of general bombing prevention measures from improvised explosive devices (IED) consstruction and classification through protective measures for potential bombing incidents  It enhances the participants understanding of the IED threat and potential response picture.  This will aid the participant in mitigating the impact of a bombing incident while considering time constraints of critical infrastructure owner/operators and response personnel


The course is designed for public and private sector critical infrastructure owners interested in or required to have a basic awareness of bombing prevention measures  Public safety personnel, Emergency managers, law enforcement and special event security personnel can also benefit from the course.
