SOUTHERN chapter tours the Squire Boone Caverns

  • 29 Aug 2018
  • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Squire Boone Caverns

Join the Southern Chapter as we take it underground...Squire Boone Caverns are located in Harrison County south of Corydon.  Underground waterfalls, and more than a million gallons of water a day go through this cave.  It is an underground ecosystem that stays 54 degrees all year long.  The tour is $9 and lunch can be purchased at the location.

There is a 40 foot high rock formation and the largest rimstone dam in the country.  There are new walkways and a tunnel.  There are some steps to negotiate.
