The TAHP Committee (Terrorism and All Hazards Preparedness) is having a combination training session on communication platforms and a committee meeting at the Made Center in Plainfield on May 17th.
Various presenters will be talking about communications and alternatives in disasters will be highlighting different communication platforms from IDHS, IDOH, IPSC, ham radio operators, 53rd Civil Support team from National Guard (unable to attend but sending PowerPoint). Will focus on what options you have when communications are overwhelmed.
